In 2021 Hackney Shed celebrated our 20th anniversary! Across the year we ran a number of projects to mark the occasion.

We released 20 stories in 20 weeks - participants, parents, volunteers, artists, facilitators and more shared their journeys with us through the years.

We ran a 2 week festival from 7th - 20th August attended by over 100 young people. Check out the full SHED FEST programme.

24 young actors created "Untold Stories" a promenade theatre piece based on Hackney news over 100 years. They performed this piece in a incredible festival with over 100 attendees.

There was theatre, dance, workshops, drumming, a giant puppet, and of course a birthday cake! THANK YOU all for making Hackney Shed's 20th birthday celebrations so memorable!
