Youth Theatre (11-16 Yrs)
What We do
In Youth Theatre we continue to focus on devising our own stories.
Young people are guided by professional directors, musicians and designers to create unique and exciting shows. Every year we work towards two performances.
Past shows have included a comedy piece about the moon landing in 1969, an exploration of what could happen when powerful science gets into the wrong hands and an examination of Brexit…set in Fairyland.
Older Youth Theatre members have the opportunity to get involved at other Hackney Shed sessions as artistic supporters, gaining valuable work experience.
